We gather at least once a month to share stories and experiences, provide peer support, and assist each other in navigating the various barriers faced by trans people and by their supporters. The Reelout queer film + video festival was originally established as a working group of the Kingston OPIRG in 1999.Reelout exists to celebrate queer media arts and to contribute to community vitality by programming materials that focus on issues of sexuality, race, culture, religion, class, gender, ability, health and age, thereby purposefully drawing together and initiating challenging dialogue among disparate members of the queer communities in Kingston and the surrounding area as well as between the larger Kingston community and the queer community. FUSE Is a group for queer, transgender, genderqueer, agender, genderfluid, pangender, intergender, non-binary, gender non-conforming, gender variant, two spirit, lesbian, bisexual, asexual, gay, pansexual, intersex, and questioning youth ages 19 and under in the Kingston area!

Mind - Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) is run by a group of youth that help research, create resources and support LGBT youth. They're always looking for new youth to join their program, whether you enjoy art, tech, or simply talking to people, they welcome all folks!
